Planning:
Our short-term business goals are:
To produce an innovative yet creative interdisciplinary Arts based production company that commits to performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival annually that will give us the International exposure we require and to establish ourselves and be recognised for our unique design concept plan as well as a reliable and trustworthy brand that seeks to provide quality and engaging content.
Our short-term financial goals are:
To ensure that the company breaks even and allows each company member to earn a minimum of £3,000 per month through sharing our advertising revenue fairly. Initially, I am seeking to structure our company so that there is a steady cash flow that is also sustainable so that it can be invested back into the company so that there is a larger capital ready for the next production after the Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival 2012.
Our long-term business goals are:
To produce an Arts based production company that will be a recognised brand allowing us to branch out into other entertainment / creative ventures such as fashion design and events management which will be linked to our touring Theatrical production company. The eventual financial backing of this company will enable me to back other productions also, that will provide another income to the company that will help produce longer runs as well as reduce ticket prices so that we continue to welcome the working / poor class as well as the traditional middle to upper class audience figures. A present, we are looking to Produce 2 major Theatrical Productions and one major film a year. The very nature of our setup (being supported through advertising) means that we will be looking at ways where we can develop a relationship with a chosen Charity where the Charity and ourselves will work towards a mutual vision where we will benefit from the increased exposure from being partnered with such Charity where we will return the favour by donating a profit share of our advertising revenue as well as producing shows where by the offline revenue will go directly to Charity (we will benefit from the advertising revenue from our online site as it is hoped that such a Charitable partnership will increase traffic to our website).
Our long-term financial goals are:
To be able to be fully financially dependent and to ensure that we will be able to remain in credit and to ensure that we have enough money to invest in life long targets such as being stable enough to raise a family and live comfortably. As a Company, we want to share our innovative ways of raising money for Charity. The core of this structure being that we are seeking to be supported by advertising revenue so that we can donate ticket sales to Charity.
This is what we want to achieve over the next few years:
Year 1: Produce a Theatre and Fashion Dance production to be seen at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where the creative process is shared online as we aim to target the educational sector by providing quality and engaging material that is also entertaining and ‘virally suitable’ for the modern era of social media.
Year 2: To solidify our previous year’s success by increasing our creative level of quality and to show people that we are a reliable and sustainable company that you can rely on for quality. Both on and off the stage as image is a big factor to success in the entertainment industry. This way, our logo and brand will be seen in the positive light and therefore when we launch our clothes range, our customers will see us in a positive light and recognize our brand with quality and good customer service. We look at consolidating our year one Theatrical success by showing we are not a ‘one hit wonder’ by producing yet another exciting and successful production.
